Earn Extra Money From Home
Side Hustle – Side Business…
Call it what you will, THERE’S MONEY TO BE MADE! The best way to start shifting to abundance is to earn more money.
We can pinch and save and cut our budget to the bone, but that just leaves us feeling deprived and doesn’t necessarily lead to getting ahead financially.

I’ve listed 20 side hustle ideas below. There are many side hustle ideas out there, but mainly I’m focusing on the ones that allow you to stay at home. Since more and more of us are in family situations that require us to be home, I think that’s important. Single moms/dads, people caring for aging parents, and those who spend way too many hours a week commuting to their job, probably want, and, need to be home. These side hustles are a great way to turn your spare time into extra income and, quite possibly, become a business that will allow you to leave your 9-5 job.
“It’s good to have money and the things that money can buy, but, it’s good, too, to check upon once in a while and make sure haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy.” ~George Lorimer
Think of how it will feel to have the extra money to do and have the things you’d like. Extra money can change your life by allowing you to:
- Become debt free
- Take a vacation
- Pay for higher education
- Retire sooner
- No longer feel stuck in your job
- Stop living paycheck to paycheck
- Give you hope if you’ve been feeling hopeless due to your financial situation
- Create your own business from your side hustle
“Do what you love, and the money will follow.” ~Marsha Sineta
While there are many ways to earn extra money, I chose to focus on the work you can do from home. Check these suggestions out with an open mind. Choose to do at least one and, if possible, a few of them so you can leave the land of lack behind you ASAP!
1. Start a Blog
This one is my personal top choice. The income potential is unlimited. It’s not an over night success. It takes time, focus and commitment, but if done properly, you can earn a nice amount of money. There are many bloggers who earn enough money from their blogs to support themselves and have been able to leave their 9-5 jobs. There are some bloggers who make well over a million dollars a year!
It’s also good to have your own blog because it will tie in with many of the other side hustles listed below.
Create your own blog here with my tutorial. You can start it for as low as $3.95 a month and get a free domain if you sign up through my Bluehost link.
2. Answer Online Surveys
This side hustle won’t make you rich, but it has the potential to bring in up to $500/month depending on the survey sites you choose and the amount of time you invest in them. With that being said, not all survey sites are created equal. I’ve heard many people have had great success while other were dissatisfied. I recommend you research to ensure the companies you choose are a good match before you invest the time.
Here are a few suggestions. Sign up for as many as possible to earn the most money!
