Drop Perfection

Quite honestly, it's highly overrated, and very often, it’s completely unobtainable!
Seeking to have everything perfect before you launch your business will keep you in the planning phase for far too long, even worse, keep you from ever launching it at all.

Mistakes happen!

How you deal with them will make all the difference.

They can provide valuable lessons and lead to outcomes better than the ones you had originally planned! Let the idea of perfection go so you can begin to grow and prosper!

I’ll be honest…

I’m guilty!!! This is a huge struggle for me, especially when it comes to my online business! I want everything done just right. Sometimes this can and does hold me back.

For instance,

I kept putting off the launch date of my blog for over a year (a word of advice – don’t do that!). The problem was, I could “see” my site in the future. I had a vision of what my site would look like a year into the journey. Well, of course it wasn’t going to match the vision right from the start – it was new! Instead, I kept working on my site, writing blog posts, designing pictures and pins, collecting quotes, reading ebooks and taking classes. Everything but putting it out there.

I finally decided that I was being ridiculous! Nobody’s site is perfect right from the start. Sites are always evolving and growing. As for my posts, I will most likely have a couple of spelling and grammatical mistakes, even when I do my best. So what?!?!? It’s not the worst thing that can happen in life! In fact, to get past this need for perfection, I purposely left a few mistakes in my earlier posts just to “get over it”. Now, they slip in here and there. I check, I miss, but I’m no longer obsessing about perfection. That Is Sooooo Freeing!!!
